Welcome to Maroon Hill Estate, where dreams meet reality in the picturesque Maroon, Queensland. Founded by our family in 2018, this elegant wedding venue blossomed from a vacant acreage block that captivated our hearts with its 360-degree, uninterrupted views of rolling hills and mountains. After a couple of years of planning and designing, we embarked on building a house in 2021, transforming our love for the land into a tangible experience for those who share in our vision.

Our Vision
At Maroon Hill Estate, we envisioned more than just a beautiful home; we wanted to craft a versatile space that harmonizes with the surrounding nature. Our commitment to the land's legacy of grazing cattle and horses continues, as we strive to be as gentle on the environment as possible. By capturing the rural feel with a touch of modern energy-efficient design, we've created a unique event and wedding space that invites guests into a homely environment, all while basking in the breathtaking views that make our estate truly special.

Our Design
Our design philosophy reflects a perfect blend of aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability. Clad in matte surfmist Colorbond steel, the exterior of the house not only charms the eye but also contributes to thermal efficiency. With careful consideration, we've employed high-quality insulation, thermally treated glass, and strategic orientation facing true north, ensuring comfort throughout the day. An off-grid electrical system, rainwater collection, and environmentally friendly septic practices further underscore our commitment to a seamless integration with nature's beauty.
